No matter what you serve on your plate it is vital to market it in a way that will DIFFERENTIATE you from your competition. If you think you don’t have competition—think of it this way. Businesses and consumers can always find another way to spend their money.
On a ranch they literally burn a symbol into their cattle to symbolize ownership. That’s a brand. You want to burn the memory of your products and services into the minds of people who can either do business or send business your way. Without memorability, no branding takes place.
A brand in business is usually a logo and phrase of market differentiation.
My term is VISUAL REPUTATION. This is making your logo, your tagline, your selling points, match your business’ personality and your product. This is how you differentiate yourself from the competition in your print, online and packaging presence.
